In My Kitchen this September are…
A range of fantastic stocks and glaces from Essential Cuisine.
Miles is especially pleased with himself for bagging the lobster glace.
Our surrogate dog Toby, a gravy connoisseur, highly recommends Essential Cuisines lamb stock powder.
Dwarf carrots from the garden. A perfect addition to roast lamb.
Seasonal Victoria plums.
Blackberries from our garden
Bramley apples from our garden
Time for some apple and blackberry pie.
Thank you to Celia at www.figjamandlimecordial.com for more IMK fun this month.
Wishing you all a very happy September xxx
What a lovely instalment! I will be planting carrots next week as well as butternut, pumpkin, rhubarb, zucchini, bell peppers and I just forgot the other thing. Old brain!
Have a happy week ahead.

Good luck with the vegetables. I love butternut squash. You’ve made me want to make my spicy butternut squash soup. Perfect for the Autumn weather in the UK. Have a fantastic week. Emma xx
Oh I need pie and custard!
Everyone needs pie and custard in their life, especially as the weather begins to cool for Autumn. We are travelling to West Cork in a few weeks for our first holiday with baby Alice. Have a fantastic week. Emma xx
Love Toby! And all of the fresh produce 🙂
Toby is the sweetest dog ever. He’s scared of pigeons bless him! Have a great week. Emma xx
Aah!
And you xx
Love the pie and custard too, Yumm! Just a bit too warm here still, but definitely cooler weather dessert for sure.
Thank you for your kind words. Enjoy the last of the good weather. I hope you visit SurreyKitchen again soon. I look forward to reading your blog. Have a wonderful week. Emma xx
Love all the garden produce. That pie looks incredible! Our apple trees didn’t do well this year but we enjoy going apple picking.
Apple and blackberry pie is my husbands favourite. We were lucky enough to get a good crop of Bramley apples this year. Enjoy your apple picking. It sounds like fun. I hope you and the family are well. Best wishes. Emma xx
Oh that’s a colorful collage you’ve got there. That pie looks lovely. I’m up for making a peach pie soon…Gulp!
